As far as the best record w have on Lot 4 and any claimediaccretions
thereto, all the accretions belong to Orono. The Auditor's office
has no record to prove differently.
Regarding Item 6--the two dwellings mentioned are on Lot 4 and not
the accretions. There is no proof they occupied the accretions at
all since there are no buildings thereon.
Regarding Item 7--we have many lake accesses we do not publicly
proclaim to be ours, which are nevertheless ours.
Regarding Item 8--again, we do not have to "claim" what is ours until
somebody decided- it is not ours.
Regarding Item 4--I checked the conservation department to see if
this area was filled by awner as they say. Fill permits have been
required since 1937; however, I would have to see the abstract to
know who the owners were, as the permits are filed by name. I would
also think that records pro.'_uced in evidence from 1886 on would
show substantially the same shoreline contour even if water levels
were different.
