RESOLUTION # 998
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING AXLE
WEIGHT LIMITS ON CITY STREETS
The City of Orono ordains that axle weight limits are restricted on
the following streets in the City of Orono from March 15, 1979
through May 15, 1979. Refuse collection vehicles shall be operated
in accordance with regulations as provided in Ordinance #114, 66.080
which states: (1) No refuse collection vehicle shall be operated
during the seasonal restriction time where the gross weight on any
single axle exceeds 14,000 pounds; and (2) No vehicles shall be
operated upon any city road at any time where special posting speci-
fically prohibits refuse collection vehicles.
The following streets are limited to five -ton axle limits:
