RESOLUTION #990
A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION #749, A JOINT RESOLUTION ESTAB-
LISHING THE HENNEPIN COUNTY CRIMINAL JUSTICE COORDINATING COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the parties, 29 political jurisdictions in County
of Hennepin, recognized the need for Criminal Justice System plan-
ning and coordination on a County wide basis; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend the operational
bylaws of the Hennepin County Criminal Justice Coordinating Council,
a copy of which proposed amendments is attached hereto,
NOW, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Orono agrees with the
proposed amendment and requests the Hennepin County Criminal Justice
Coordinating Council to adopt this amendment.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a
regular meeting held January 23, 1979. A J

PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO
HENNEPIN COUNTY CRIMINAL JUSTICE COORDINATING COUNCIL
OPERATIONAL BYLAWS
Article IV. MEMBERSHIP
Section 3. Any suburban -local unit of government desiring to become
a member of the HCCJCC shall execute a joint resolution of participation
and those same units of government which execute such resolutions shall
jointly have the following representation on the HCCJCC:

The motion for adoption of the proposed amendment was made bzy'Hopkins
Chief Ovide LaBerge, seconded by District Court representative Ward Whalen
and passed unanimously on October a, 1978, at a regular meeting of the
HCCJCC.
