Resi- <br />dents of the area that purchased houses from us at the time <br />we built them were given easements for docking their boats <br />and a portion of the land is used for that purpose. <br />The entire site I believe, is designated as a "marsh wetland" <br />and floodplain area. Obviously, we will not be using the land <br />in the future and it seems to me that the best arrangement <br />would be for us to make a gift of the land to the City of <br />Orono. I am enclosing copies of plats and maps, also descrip- <br />tions of the easements which will be helpful in your locating <br />the property exactly. <br />The description of the 12.56 acre parcel is District 38, <br />Plat 41317, Parcel 1430 and the legal is: <br />That part of government lot three lying East and South of <br />Coffee's Addition to Shadywood and lying West of a line <br />running par with the East line of Lot 31, Coffee's Addition <br />and passing through the Northwest corner of Tract A registered <br />land survey No. 702. <br />The description of the adjacent piece is, District 38, Plat <br />42060, Parcel 6400 and the legal is: <br />Lot 31, Coffee's Addition to Shadywood. <br />3250west 66th street•p.o. box 1385•minneapolis, min nesota 55440•phone (612) 920-9280 <br />
