L 9 9 4 <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING ABATEMENT <br />OF HAZARDOUS BUILDING ACTION AT <br />1929 FAGRYaMS POINT ROAD, ORONO <br />WH)SRRAS, the Ci -y of Orono is a municipal corporation <br />organized and existing unrler the laws of the State of Minnesota; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Lloyd Draper, 6015 Girard Avenue South, <br />Minneapolis, Minnesota, 55419; is the fee owner of record of <br />property located at 1929 Eagerness Point Road, Orono, Minnesota, <br />herein referred to as "the property", and legally described as <br />follows: <br />Lot 19, ?agerness <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono, having <br />duly considered the matter pursrant to Minnesota Statutes <br />Sections 463.15 to 463.261, hereby finds that the above described <br />property is uninhabitable and contains unsanitary and hazardous <br />conditions which constitute a public nuisance and which makes <br />this property hazardoue to the public health, safety and welfare <br />based on the following findings: <br />1. Building open to public <br />2. Concrete block walls falling down <br />3. Building full of rain water <br />4. No principal structure on property <br />5. No protection provided to prevent someone from falling <br />from roof deck <br />6. Building is in a state of deterioration and <br />dilapidation, thus it 1.3 a safety and health hazard pursuant <br />to Minnesota State Building Code/Uniform Building Code, <br />Section 203. <br />7. Orders to remove or repair the structure were issued by <br />the Building Official on May 1, 1986. These orders have not <br />been complied with. <br />Page 1 of 2 <br />
