A RESOLUTION APPROVING
A SUBDIVISION FOR CONLEY BROOKS
WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation
organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota;
and
WHEREAS, the City council of the City of Orono has adopted
subdivision regulations for the orderly, economic and safe
development of land within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council by Resolution No. 884 approved the
application for a subdivision plat by Conley Brooks, the sub-
divider, subject to the recording of certain documents; and
WHEREAS, Conley Brooks has duly filed in proper form and
within the designated time all five of the documents described
in Resolution No. 884 and therefore all of the conditions of
Resolution No. 884 have been fulfilled; and
WHEREAS, there was a discrepancy between the legal descrip-
tions of West and Middle Tracts of the subdivided property
attached to Resolution No. 884 as Exhibit B and the survey
attached to said Resolution as Exhibit A; and
WHEREAS, the legal descriptions on Exhibit A are correct
and the legal descriptions on Exhibit B are incorrect; and
WHEREAS, -the City Council for the City of Orono wishes to
confirm that with respect to the property now correctly described
on Exhibit B attached hereto, Conley Brooks has fulfilled all of
the platting and subdividing requirements of the City of Orono.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that
the City of Orono hereby unconditionally
bounds subdivision as shown on Exhibit A
on Exhibit B.

Legal Description of Conley Brooks Subdivision:
West Tract
That part of Government Lot 2, Section 26, Township 118, North,
Range 23 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, lying Northerly
of creek and Westerly of the following -described line and its
Southerly extension:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Southeast
quarter of said Section 26; thence on an assumed bearing
of South 1003'45" West along the West line of said
Southeast quarter a distance of 1168 feet to the point
of beginning of the line being described; thence South
450 East a distance of 448.54 feet; thence South 8006'15"
West a distance of 610.58 feet; thence South 6057'45" East
to the Southerly line of said Government Lot 2, and there
ending,
EXCEPT that part thereof lying Northerly of the "Survey line"
of Hennepin County State Aid Highway Number 6, Plat 5, as
delineated in Book 3, Page 1 of Highway Plats as recorded in
the office of County Recorder.
Middle Tract
That part of Government Lot 2, Section 26, Township 118, North,
Range 23 West of the 5th Principal Meridian, lying Northerly
of creek and Westerly of the following -described line and its
Southerly extension:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Southeast
quarter of said Section 26; thence on an assumed bearing
of South 1003'45" West along the West line of said
Southeast quarter a distance of 1168 feet to the point of
beginning of the line being described; thence South
450 East a distance of 569.03 feet; thence South 54035'
• East to a point of intersection with the East lineof
the West 619 feet of said Government Lot 2; thence South
1003'45" West a distance of 304.38 feet; thence South
11030' East to the Southerly line of said Government
Lot 2, and there ending,
EXCEPT that part thereof lying Westerly of the following -
described line and its Southerly extension:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Southeast
quarter of said Section 26; thence on an assumed bearing

Southeast quarter a distance of 1168 feet to the point of
beginning of the line being described; thence South 450
East a distance of 569.03 feet; thence South 5.4035'
East a distance of 844 feet; thence along atangential
curve,to the left having a radius of 819.07 feet to its
intersection with the East line of said Government Lot 2,
and there ending,
and lying Easterly of the following -described line:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of the Southeast
quarter of said Section 26; thence on an assumed bearing
of South 1003' 45" West along the West line of said
Southeast quarter a distance of 1168 feet; thence South
450 East a distance of 569.03 feet;'thence South 54035'
East to a point of intersection with the East line of
the West 619 feet of said Government Lot 2, said point
being the point of beginning of the line being described;
thence South -1003'45" West a distance of 304.38 feet; thence
South 11030' East to the Southerly line of said Government
Lot 25, and there ending.
