A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO
PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE DIAGONAL
RING ROUTE SEGMENT
WHEREAS, the City of Orono has held three public hearings,
May 17, 1976, February 28, 1977, and January 23, 1978 concerning the
construction of a segment of the ring route for a connecting link
between the intersection of County Roads No. 19 and No. 84 and the
intersection of County Road No. 6 and Watertown Road, for a distance
of approximately nine -tenths of a mile, and
WHEREAS, the three public hearing notices were duly published
in the official newspapers and mailed in a bulk mailing to all
citizens of Orono, and
WHEREAS, the proposed construction will be financed under
the Municipal State Aid Program utilizing State funds allocated to
the City of Orono for roadway construction and upgrading, and
WHEREAS, the City

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Engineer is
authorized to prepare plans and specifications for the construction
of the diagonal ring route.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a
regular meeting held April 13, 1978.
