HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 891RESOLUTION NO. 891 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLAT OF LAFAYETTE RIDGE WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota;'and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono has adopted subdivision regulations for the orderly, economic and safe development of land within the city; and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered the application for a subdivision plat by Crosstown Associates, the subdivider; and WHEREAS, the subdivider has completed.all requirements of the platting regulations of the City, including: Execution of a developer's agreement with the'City." Creation of a homeowner's association acceptable to the City.— Dedication of required drainage and utility easements. - Dedication of public streets and roads. • Dedication of access easements underlying Outlot G. Dedication of open space and flowage conservation easements.,--, Payment of a park dedication fee of $1,250.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Orono hereby approves the plat of LAFAYETTE RIDGE, Hennepin County, Minnesota, subject to the following conditions: 1. The aforesaid plat shall be filed with the Hennepin County Recorder's Office on or before August 30, 1978, together with a certified original copy of this Resolution, drainage and utility easement document, underlying access easement document for Outlot G, and open space and flowage conservation easement for Outlots B and C. 2. The completion of all requirements of the Developer's Agreement between Crosstown Associates and the City of Orono. 3. Outstanding water and sewer special assessments will be evenly divided between the five lots in blocks 1 and 2. 4. • Building permits will not be issued for lots 1 and 2, block 1 and lots 1, 2 and 3, block 2 until the City Engineer issues a 0. certificate of substantial completion for the road improvements to Outlot G and the sewer and water extentions to these lots. 5. The City of Orono hereby finds that lots 1 and 2, block 1 and lots 1, 2 and 3, block 2 are not riparian to Lake Minnetonka. The approval granted by this Resolution shall expire if the plat has not been filed by the date specified above. In that event, it will be necessary to file a new application with the City of Orono for subdivision review.
