• <br />RESOLUTION # V7 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF THE CITY OF ORONO <br />GRANT APPLICATION TO HENNEPIN COUNTY FOR INCLUSION IN <br />THE URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK <br />GRANT'APPLICATION, IN ACCORD WITH THE HOUSING AND <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono has executed a joint powers <br />agreement with Hennepin County thereby agreeing to participate in <br />a Grant Application under the Urban County designation provided <br />for in the Housing and Community Development Act of.1974, and <br />WHEREAS, a grant application has been prepared requesting <br />funds to undertake a community development program, including <br />appropriate citizen participation, goal establishment and implementa- <br />tion plans and procedures. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council, of <br />the City of Orono, does hereby adopt the proposed Community Development <br />Plan and Program and Housing Assistance Plan contained in the attached <br />•application for Federal assistance and authorizes submission of said <br />application to Hennepin County as the Urban County Community Development <br />Block Grant applicant. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular <br />meeting held February 9, 1978. <br />Attest <br />Z&Ii4 R � U <br />William B.
