A RESOLUTION DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
SITUATION FOR THE WATER SIIPPLY FOR
THE ORONO CITY OFFICE BUILDINGS
TrJHEREAS, the Administration Staff of the City of
Orono has, through the necessary testing, determined that the
present well for supplying water to the Administration Office
Building, at 1335 South Brown Road in Orono, Minnesota, is
beyond repair, and
�JHFR,EAS, the Police and Public Works Building, at
1285 South Brown Road in Orono, Minnesota, uses a cistern for
water supply, and said cistern is in dire need of repair and
is no longer feaaible.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono City
Council does hereby declare an emergency situation and does .
instruct the Orono: Staff to solicit informal bids for a well,
of a size to be adequate to supply the Administration Office
� � at 1335 Sou�h Brown Road, iimnediately; and of a size to ac-
comodate the Police and Public Works Office, Garage and
Council Chambers in the near future.

at a regular meeting held June 13, 1977
