Tf-IE SOUII-�EASTERLY LINE OF r'IAPLE LANE AI�ID
NO}7TI��ESTERLY OF 'Il-� NOR'Il-IWESTERLY LINE
OF LOT 76, SPRING PARK
�VI-�REAS, a majority of the owners of the property abutting the aforesaid
legal description requesting the City Council in a petition dated April 27, 1977,
to vacate such street accordirig to law, and
�
j�i-IEREA.S, a public hearing was held on February 17, 1976, before the
Planning Corrunission in the City Hall on such petition after due published and
posted notice had been given from the clerk on January 30, 1976, and all persons
interested were given an opportunity to be heard, and
�Vf�RF.AS, the City Council reviewed the recorrmlendations of the Planning
Corrunission on T'tarch 22, 1976, and on April 27, 19�7, and
1ti1�EREAS, it appears it will be in the specific interest of the City to
approve such petition,
NOW, TI�REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that such petition is hereby granted and
that the street description as fol.lows is hereby vacated:
• That street or alley adjacent to Lots 72,
73, 74 and 75, Spring Park, Lying South-
easterly of the southeasterly line of
�iaple Lane �and northwesterly of the north-
westerly line of Lot 76, Spring Park
Adopted by the City Coi.mcil of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a meeting
held June 2 , 1977, by a vote of 4 ayes and 0 nays.
