� �tESQLU�ION REGEFIP•III�G THE LEVEL OF FUNDING FOF, THE SUBURBAN PUSLIC
NEALTH P�URSIPJG SEP,UICE
�7� Mary C. Butler intsoduced the following resolution and
moved it's adoption.
�r1HEREAS9 the City Council authorized, in the 1977 budget, an appropri-
ation for Suburban Public I-iealth Nursing Service (SPH�!S) 'programs in an amount
of 6E� per capita9 and
bJHEREAS9 the Community Flealth Service Act, throur�h Hennepin County, wi11
provide subsidy resources to support the provision of public health nursing
services to municipalities at a rate uf 4�0� per capita9 and
� WHEREAS, this subsidy will lower the contribution of the City of
Orono to SPNP�lS in a like amount; '
NOta!, TI;EREFORE, BE IT RESGLUED by the Ci�y Council of the City of
Orono ;
• To restate the City Council's acceptance ofi programs and services as
comprehended during development• of the 1977 budget and to rEdefine the level
of budget funding �'or those programs and services at a rate of 28¢ per capita,
the ��0¢ per capita balance of the costs to be financed by state subsidy.
The motion for adoption of the abov� �ceso3.ution uras seconded by
�Z��r v�n N -Gt- . Upon roll ca11 there were 4 yeas and
0 nays: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
