A RESOLUTION APPROVING COORDINATED PERA-OASDI WHEREAS the Village of Orono has expressed its interest in coordination of PERA-OASDI by supporting the, Hennepin County League of Municipalities concerning this matter! NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Council, Village of Orono, Minnesota, urges the passage of S.F. 617 and H.F. 900, the League of Minnesota Munlcipalitiest sponsored bills providing for coordination of PERA and OASDI. WHEREAS, it is now proposed that the legislature of the State of Minnesota enact legislation abolishing the Township System .of administration of relief and institute and establish a County System, and WHEREAS, such.a change is unnecessary, undesirable and costly and expensive. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village (f Orono that said Village of Orono is opposed to the enactment of any legislation which will change the present system of administration of direct relief and establish or impose a County System therefor..'
