A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING LIGHTING
FOR MUNICIPAL PARKING LOT
'RESOLVED That -the Village Council of the Village of Orono,
Hennepin County, Minnesota,, hereby accepts the offer of the
NORTHERN STATES POWER COMPANY, a Minnesota corporation, to furnish
electric energy, lamp and glassware renewals, and other services :4
for the operation and maintenance of the Village's ornamental
street lighting system, consisting of:
7 steel standards with underground cable (Municipal
Parking Lot) a
all located or to be located in said Village, and hereby approves
all rates, terms, conditions, and specifications contained in the
proposed form of Ornamental Street Lighting Contract made a part
of the offer of said Company, and the proper officers of the
Village are hereby authorized and directed to execute the aforesaid,.-.'

corporate seal thereto..

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT kk
PARCELS OF LAND FOR NAVARRE PARKING LOT
Pertaining to the acquisition_ of and
lands, easements and leases in connection..with
lot,
payment for certain
the Navarre parking
WHEREAS, the Village Council by previous resolution has
determined to acquire and construct a public parking lot to serve
the Navarre commercial area,
F WHEREAS, the Village has acquired or will acquire
certain interests in real property necessary and incidental to`the

operation of said parking lot, said interests being described in
detail in the exhibits attached hereto as parcel Nos. 1 through 8
' °and• parcel No. 6 (lease) and parcel No. 7 (lease).
WHEREAS, the'Village Council recognizes an obligation to
make payment for said interests in real property now or hereafter
.acquired.
WHEREAS, the Village has entered into a lease'agreement
with respect to'parcel Nos. 6 (lease) and 7 (lease) copies of which
c` are attached hereto.
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the interested
parties to parcel No:- 7 and No. 8 cannot pass marketable title to
the Village,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village Council
of Orono as follows: .
1. That the Village, shall make payment for the
said interests in real property presently or hereinafter

A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING REPRESENTATIVE AND ALTERNATE
REPRESENTATIVE TO THE HENNEPIN COUNTY LEAGUE
OF MUNICIPALITIES
WHEREAS, the Village of Orono is a member in good stand—
ing of the Hennepin County League of Iv7unicipalities, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Orono desires to continue its
participation in the Hennepin County League of Municipalities.
µ NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
` That .the Village of Orono hereby designates Mayor
F: H..R. Ross as its representative to the Hennepin County League of
s..' Municipalities,for the period of January 1, 1965 to December 31,
r 1965.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village of Orono hereby_.
designates Fran.E. Mxa, Jr. as its alternate representative to
the` Hennepin County League of Municipalities to serve during th-e
absence or.disability of the above named representative.
