Telephone 473-7357
CITY of ORONO
Yost Office Box 66•Crystal Bay, Minnesota 55323•Municipal Offices
On the North Shore of Lake Minnetonka
December 5, 1979
Mr. Sid Reber=
Rebers Construction
3525 Webster Avenue
Minneapolis, MN 55416
RE: Proposed Jackson Residence, Edgewood Hills Road
Dear Mr. Rebers:
We are in receipt of a set of plans and application for permit for
the proposed Edge Jackson residence on Edgewood Hills Road as of
today. In a cursory review of the information submitted, I find a
few discrepancies which must be resolved before we can issue a
building permit.
1) Side Setback - proposed 27' - 30' required. A readjustment
of the house location may take care of this.
2) Septic System - The information submitted is merely a
preliminary report based on two perc tests and one boring. ►r..
must have a total of at least 6 perc tests (and 3 borings)
showing both a primary and alternate drainfield site as well
as a system design. Based on the preliminary perc test, a
usable area of approximately 6,000 - 8,000 sq. ft. should be
delineated and preserved for drainfield use. I also note that
from the topographic sketch some steep slopes occur on the lot
and should be avoided for proper A rainfield functioning. Please
see the attached sheet showing wha-c remains to be submitted.
If you have any questions, please call.
Sincerely,
Michael P.
