A RESOLUTION GRANTING AN EXTENSION OF, THE
COMPLETION DATE FOR SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENTS
NOS. 63 -TS -1 AND 64 -LS -1
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village
of Orono, Minnesota, as follows:
That the contracts with Abbott, Arne & Schwindt,. Inc.,,
of Moorhead, Minnesota, for the 1963 sewer and the
1964 sewer be extended by 60 days and 120 days re-
spectively;
FURTHER RESOLVED, however, that this action in extend-
ing the time of performance of said contracts does not
constitute a waiver or release of any kind of any
rights which the Village may have in the future-",,bas
upon claims By citizens against the Village for.,
damages for failure to perform strictly on time.
Adopted at a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village

RESOLUTION #71 Y:
A RESOLUTION REGARDING DETACHMENT OF -THE
ARTHUR E. AND HELEN E. LOOSEN PROPERTY
WHEREAS Arthur E. Loosen and Helen E. Loosen, husband and wife,
as joint tenants, are the owners of the following described
real estate; and
_-WHEREAS the said described real estate presently is a part of
the Village of Orono but abuts on the Village of Long Lake; and -.
WHEREAS said Arthur E. Loosen and Helen E. Loosen have requested
the Village of.Orono to detach the said real estate, and the
Village of Long Lake to annex it; and
WHEREAS -the Village of Orono is willing that this concurrent

etachment and annexation be accomplished;,

NOW THEREFORE
* IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
1-. .The legal description of the real estate involved is set
forth on Exhibit "All"attached hereto and made a part hereof
2. Upon.adoption by the Village -of Long Lake of a resolution
concurrenit with this -resolution, annexing the said real.estate
to the Village,of hong Lake, .the said real estate shall be
detached- from .the Village of Orono.
3. A;certif.ied-copy of this resolution shall be forwarded to
the Minnesota Municipal -.Commission.
Minnesota Municipal Commission is hereby requested
upon receipt of a certified, copy of this resolution and a
certified copy of a concurrent resolution from the Village of.
Long hake annexing .the said real estate, to enter its order
detaching the said real estate.from the Village of Orono and -
annexing the same. --o the Village of Long hake.
Adopted by the Village Council at a regular meeting held
October 129 1964. '

A RESOLUTION APPROVING ASSESSMENTS FOR
NAVARRE MUNICIPAL PARKING LOT AND
CALLING A HERRING THEREON
BE IT RESOLVED by the'Village of Orono as follows:
1. A public'hearing on the proposed assessment roll
of properties to be benefitted and therefore assessed in connection
with the Navarre Parking Lot shall be held at 8::,00 P. M. on
October 26, 1g64,,
at the Village Hall.
2. Due notice of such hearing shall be published for
two successive weeks in accordance with the provisions of 459.14
i (sub. 7) of Minnesota.Statutes.

Mailed notice of said hearing shall be sent at leastl
one week in
advance of said hearing to the owners of all properties

A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ORDERING
A TAX LEVY COLLECTIBLE IN 196:5
BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Orono
that the following sums of money be levied for the current year,
collectible in 1965, upon the taxable property in said Village
of Orono, for the following purposes:
General Fund $123,605.00
Poor Fund
Public Employees Retirement Fund
(Contributory Share)
TOTAL

The Clerk is hereby instructed to transmit a certified copy of
this resolution to the County Auditor of Hennepin County. .
