A RESOLUTION ORDERING' CONSTRUCTION OFA
MUNICIPAL PARTING' LOT :AT 'NAVARRE .

WHEREAS, pursuant to due notice in accordance with �
Section 459.14(7), Minnesota Statutes, a public hearing was held,.:
at the Village Hall on June 22, 1964, at 8:00 P.M., and continued
until special meeting of June 29,.1964, at 6:00 P.M., and-
' -
'WHEREAS, all parties interested in said projector liable
to be assessed therefor were given the opportunity to be heard,. and
WHEREAS, the Village Engineer has submitted a,report
wherein he recommends`a storm sewer required as part of the parking =�
lot be constructed at the same time and by the same contractor as
the sanitary sewer now under contract;
NOW, THEREFORE,_
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Village of Orono., as follows:
1. The Village Council determines to proceed with the
acquisition and construction of a public parking`lot to serve the
Navarre Commercial Area.
2. The said public parking lot shall be located on the'
following described property:
All of Lots l through 4 and parts of Lots '5, 6
and 23, all in Block 6, Navarre Heights; and part of
Lot 5, Block 3, Townsite `of. Langdon Park; Hennepin
County, Minnesota. "s 3
3. The district bene.fit'ted ,�;•>and to be,'assessed on a
front foot basis for said improvements 'as follows:
All of Lots15,6,7 and 22, through 2.8, Block 6,
Navarre Heights; -Lots 25 through 28, .Blo.ck 5, 1r:
Navarre Heights; and -all that part of Lot 5,
Block 3, .Townsi,te of Langdon Park lying
Southwesterly of County Road -19; .'Hennepin
County, Minnesota..
4. The Mayor and Clerk are authorized to enter into -a.
contract with Abbott, Arne and ScYiwindt, Inc.., for construction 'of
a portion of the required storm sewer ata negotiated cost 'of
$7,050.00 based on unit prices.
Adopted by the Village Council of the Village of Orono, Minnesota` r
at a special meeting held June 29, 1964.`
