RESOLUTION NO. 52
RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF SANITARY SEWER`IMPROVEMENT 64 -LS -19 DETERMINING
-
TOTAL COST AND CALLING FOR THE SALE OF BONDS
BE IT RESOLVED By the Village Council of the Village of°.
Orono, Minnesota, as follows:

(1) It is hereby found, determined and declared 'that the
'r lowest two bids submitted by responsible contractors
for the construction of Sanitary Sewer 64 -LS -1 are as follows:

(2) The contracts for the construction of Sanitary Sewer
Improvement 64 -LS -1 are hereby awarded to the lowest
bidder, subject to the approval of the appropriate state agency; ',
and'the.Clerk'is hereby authorized and'directed to return the
bid depositsall bidders except the lowest two bidders. The ,,

-the execution of contracts.
(3) The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into -
contracts with the -low bidder upon said bidder furnishing
a satisfactory corporate surety bond conditioned upon the satis-..

factory perf6rmance of the work according to plans and speci-
fications and.otherwise as required by law.

ORDERING A PUBLIC HEARING ON ACQUISITION AND
CONSTRUCTION OF A PUBLIC PARKING LOT AT`NAVARRE
WHEREAS, the owners of certain commercial property -in .
the Navarre area have petitioned the Village 'Council for the'
acquisitionand construction of a public parking lot to serve the
Navarre commercial area; and
WHEREAS, the total.cost of this pr.o;l.ect is estimated'at
approximately $50,000 and the petitioning property -owners have
agreed to an assessment of the cost against them �on a l'front -foot"
basis ; and'
WHEREAS, the property lying just north of Lyric Avenue,,

parking lot i -f. it were rezoned•"Commercial"; l
NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED•'by the Village Council

Hall at 8:00 P.M. on June 229 19.64, regarding the acquisition,and '.
construction of,a"public.,parking lot on said property shall be
given by publication in'the legal newspaper for two successive y
'weeks preceding such hearing, pursuant to Section 459.14 (Sub.•7) .'
