RESOLUTION CALLING A PUBLIC HEARING ON SANITARY
SEWER PROJECT NO.. 64 -LS -1 AND,STREET IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT NOS. '64 -GG -1 Ai 64 -BS -1.
BE hT RESOLVED BYYthe.Village Council of the Village of
Orono, Minnesota, as follows: "
r (1):This Council shall meet at the time and'place specified in
the',form of notice hereinafter cdntained.for the purpose of
conducting a public hearing on said improvements,.and the Clerk is
hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of said meeting to be
given by publishing notice of the same in the official newspaper of
the Village at least twice, which publications shh1l be,one week
apart with the last publication not later than .three days prior
to said meeting. Said notice shall be in substantially the following
form:.

NOTICE IB HEREBY GIVEN That the Village Council of the.Village of
Orono, Minnesota, will meet at the Hill Elementary School in said
* jill:age on Thursday, May 21, 1964, at 8:00 P.M. for the purpose of
holding public hearings on the making of local improvements in the
X Village ,described as follows: .
SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO. 64 -LS -1:
�� = ..Construction of lateral sanitary sewers, . lift stations and force
mains.to serve the following described areas in the Village:
That portion of the Village of Orono lying within a line
commencing at the N.E. corner of Lot 12, Block 6,.Townsite
'of Langdon Park, thence southerly along the east line of
said .hot 12 to the shoreline of� Lake-Zinnetonka, thence
southerly and easterly along said shoreline -to the channel
•'known..as the=Narrows, thence nflrtherly and easterly along
said channel --to the shoreline'of.Lafayette Bay on said hake,
thence westerly and northerly along said shoreline to the
intersection thereof with the northerly boundary line of
R.L.S.--_No. 420, thence westerly and northerly to its inter-
section. with<Lafayette Road thence along the centerline of
Lafayette Road to the centerline of County Road No. 19,
thence, -westerly and northerly along the centerline of County
Road.No.. 19 to the south line of County Road No. 15, thence
westerly.,al-ong the'south line of County Road No. 15. to -.the
point of '-b'eginning,
Also, Lots 15 and 21; Shore Hills Addition.
Also, the lands bounded on the south'and west by Couiity
Road No. 19, on the north and west by County Road No. 15,.
and on the east"by Lafayette Avenue ( also known as Old
Beach Road'), ,except that portion lying in. the Village of
_Minnetonka :Beach.

to all owners of property affected at least ten (10) days

The estimated cost of said improvement is $2849000.00.

Grading and graveling of Lidiard Avenue from County Road No. 19

to Kelly Avenue.
The estimated cost of said improvement is $4250.00
STREET IMPROVEMENT NO. 64 -BS -1:
Grading, graveling.and installation of.bituminous surfacing of all
of Kelly Avenue, all of Carmen. Road all of Pleasant Avenue (some=
times also known as,Pheasant Avenue % and all of Livingstone Avenue,

and all of Lyric Avenue.in.cluding the proposed extension thereof eastergg
and northerly to County Road No. 19.

The,estimated cost of said improvement is $53,500.00.
The areas to be assessed for said sanitary sewer improvement �.
include all lots, tracts and parcels of land set forth above as 'the
areas to be served thereby.
The areas proposed to -be assessed for et,cg of said street improvements y
will include all lots, tracts and parcels` -of land abutting on:`the
street or streets described above.
All persons interested may be heard on any or all of said improve-,
menu at the time and place above stated-.:'
