RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR z
SANITARY SEWER PROJECT NO. 64—LS-1 AND STREET
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT NOS. 64 -GG -1 and 64—BS-1 AND
CALLING FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS ON SAID IMPROVEMENTS.
BE IT RESOLVED BY the Village Council of the Village of
Orono, Minnesota, as follows:
(1) The detailed plans and specifications heretofore prepared
by William T. Mills, consulting engineer, for construction
of Sanitary Sewer Project No. 64 -LS -1 and Street Improvement Project
Nos.-64—GG-1-and 64 -BS -1 are hereby approved and ordered filed.' '11
(2) This Council shall meet on -Monday, May 18, 1964, at 8:00
o'clock P.M. at the Village Hall in the Village of Orono,
for the purpose of receiving and considering sealed bids for the
construction of said improvements, and the Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to cause notice of said meeting to be
published in the official newspaper and in the Construction.

Bulletin, published at Minneapolis, Minnesota, ionce at least

that sealed bids for'baill work must be received by the Village.

or certified check or bid bond in the ,amount --of at least -5%of the
respective bids,lthat the Council reserves the right`to hold such"
bids for. a pe'riod- of 40, days without award and the right to reject,''

any and all bids without explanation and to waive -any informalities.
The motion for the adoption of the • foregoing resolution was '
duly seconded by member Schmitt, and upon a vote being taken, the '
following -members voted in favor thereof: Ross, Searles., Q.uady and
Schmitt z'

whereupon said -resolution was declared passed and adopted.- m
by the Village Council at a regular -meeting -held April 2T,
