The lot is on a steer slol,e but there is a fluter area
In the south middle where we tested. Although this area is
still a little steep, the soil conditions of clay soils on
top with a pore permeable layer 4-5 feet deep would tend to
discourage si' .ill seepage.
Rnother oblem is drainage through the site since there
Is a small.,,s le near soil boring 3 where a higher possible
water table exists. However, with proper drainage away from
the proposed house and rerouting of runoff water coming from
the south, the possible high water table in this area coulu
be lowered.
The percolation holes were dug 6 inches in diameter to
3-3.5 feet deep and had n average percolation rate of 22.3
Minutes per inch, which would allow a standard system if the
runoff i. diverted. The soil borings were dug 6 inches in
diF--.eter to the 4 foot depth and 3 inches in diameter to the
remaining deoth-
