'A RESOLUTION.EXTENDING.COMPLETION DATE OF CONTRACT FOR
`CONSTRUCTION.OF THE FRENCH FAKE SEWAGE TREATMENT PLANT
PHELPS DRAKE CO. INC.
VSTHEREAS a.contract dated July 18, 1963 between the Village
and Phelps Drake Co., Inc. for contruction of the French Lake
Sewage" Treatment Plant provides for a completion date of Nov. 15,
1963; and
WHEREAS Phelps Drake Co., Inc. has in writing requested '
ext.ension.of the stated completion date and given reasons for
the' request; and
j1WHEREAS the Village Engineer, William T. Mills, recommends
' approval=of the.request; and
WHEREAS it' is deemed an extension of the completion date
is not detrimental to the public interest or the sanitary
sewer improvement generally,
NODI, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the completion date of
the contract ,.be extended to July 15,1964; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that thi-s resolution be attached
and made apart of that contract.
Adopted by the Village Council at a regular meeting held
December 9, 1963.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING ISSUANCE OF CIGARETTE LICENSES FOR 1964
-WHEREAS Chapter 62 of the Municipal Code provides for the
licensing .of those persons engaged in the retail sale of
cigarettes and other tobacco products and establishes a fee
'for the license, and
WHEREAS a number of these persons were so licensed.durir_g 1963,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOItED that the Mayor and Administrator
be authorized to'issue licenses in 1964 to the following persons
for*'sale,of cigarettes and tobacco products at the locations

A RESOLUTION EXTENDING EXISTING CONTRACT WITH SUBURBAN HENNEP.IN
COUNTY RELIEF BOARD -
BE IT RESODVED, that the contract heretofore submitted, signed ,
and executed by the Suburban -Hennepin County Relief Board of the'_
County of Hennepin for the administration and supervision of poor
relief in the Village of Orono be, and the same is hereby accepted,
approved, renewed and extended for and during the year 1964 with
the same force and effect as though said original contract were
redated, resigned and executed as of the date hereof. k`
Adopted by the Village Council at a -regular meeting held
January 27, 1964.
