MINUTES OF THE RE(;UI.AR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 24, 1984 PAGE 1 <br />ATTENDANCE 7:00 PM The Orono City Council met on the above date with the <br />following members present: Mayor Butler, Council - <br />members Frahm, and Grabek. Councilmember Adams <br />arrived at 8:55 p.m. Councilmember Hammerel was not <br />present. City Administrator Benson was not present. <br />Public Works Coordinator Gerhardson, Assistant <br />Zoning Administrator Gaffron, City Engineer Cook, <br />City Attorney Radio, City Recorder Sutton represented <br />the City staff. <br />CONSENT AGENDA* Mayor Butler moved, Councilmember Grabek seconded, to <br />approve the Consent Agenda*, subject to removing item <br />N2 from the Consent Agenda for discussion, with all <br />staff reports concerning these items reviewed at this <br />meeting to be attached to the original copy of these <br />minutes on file in the City Clerk's office. Motion, <br />Pyes (3), Nays (0). <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES Councilmember Frahm noted on page 12 under McDowell's <br />application that he voted nay. <br />Councilmember Frahm moved, Councilmember Grabek <br />seconded, to approve the minutes of September 10, <br />1984, subject to the change noted above. Motion, Ayes <br />(3), Nays (0). <br />LADE MINNETONKA <br />CONSERVATION DISTRICT <br />REPORT Jo Ellen Hurr was not present because she had nothing <br />to report. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />C014KMTS There were no Planning Commission comments. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS There were no comments from the public. <br />1603 MILIAAM WEAR <br />2901 WATERTOWN ROAD <br />FINAL SUBDIVISION <br />RESSOLUTION / ; r,n Bill Wear was present. <br />Mayor But let moved, Counc.i lmember Grabek seconded, to <br />approve Resolution 01680, A Resolution Approving <br />Rollinq Meadows plat. Motion, Ayes (3), Nays (0). <br />MA 'OR'S REPORT Mayor But ler stated that ataf f has asked that a member <br />c,t the City staff be appointed as liaison between <br />Council and staff during the absence of City <br />Administrator Benson. Butler suggested Johr <br />(;erhardson or Joanne Latt..n. <br />Councilmember Frahm moved, Council ember Grabek <br />secorded, to appoint John Gerhardson, Public Works <br />Coordinator, as a temporary liaison between the <br />CouociI and staff and Joanne Lattin, Otfice <br />Coordinator, when John is away.
