On July 13, 2015, the City Council approved Resolution 6523, granting approval of a variety of variances
to permit construction of a new residence on the property at 3855 Bayside Road. (File #15-3748). We
have received your request dated May 27, 2016 for an extension of this approval which was to expire on
July 13, 2016.
City Code Section 78-129 permits staff to grant a 12-month extension of the approval . Because the
standards granting your variance remain applicable, your extension request has been granted. Your
variance will expire on July 13, 2017. A request for an additional extension must be received at least 60
days prior to the new expiration date (May 13, 2017). Any subsequent extensions may be granted by City
Council approval. The terms and approvals granted in Resolution 6523 still apply.
