Mr. Sharratt,
The City of Orono is required to notify you within fifteen (15) business days as to the status of your application for
Variance applications for property located at 3855 Bayside Road. Below is a list of items the City of Orono is
requesting to complete our review:
1) Certificate of Survey. It appears that during reproductions, the scale was compromised. Please resubmit the
proposed survey on two (2) original scaled copies, as well as a reduced (11'x17' or smaller), or digital copy
indicating the following:
a) Ordinary High Water Line (OHW).
b) the property boundaries,
c) property dimensions,
d) the existing structures and/or improvements on the property,
e) all existing hardcover,
f) existing topographic contours extending 50' past the property boundaries.
2) Hardcover Calculations. All proposed hardcover shall be calculated on the hardcover worksheets that are
enclosed. The Planning Commission and City Council find these helpful in reviewing proposed projects. The
hardcover calculations must be completed by your surveyor.
3) Applicants address. It is noted that the applicant's address is 3845 Bayside Road, while the site address is
3855 Bayside Road. There may be a need to clarify addressing as the project moved forward.
4) Minnehaha Watershed District. Please verify Minnehaha Creek Watershed permitting requirements, if no
permit is required, please submit written verification.
5) Adjacent Property Owners acknowledgment. Please have the neighboring property owners recognize their
knowledge of the project with the attached forms.
Application #15-3748 is incomplete. If you wish to proceed with your application please submit the items
requested above by June 1 in order to remain on the June 8 Planning Commission agenda. Please contact me at
