City Of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. 1858 <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERINGZ97;��� <br />HAZARDOUS BUILDING ACTION ATr <br />MiJOULAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation <br />organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, Ida Bell, 2609 Dupont Ave. S., Minneapolis, <br />Minnesota 55408, is the fee owner of record of property located at 3401 <br />East Lake Street, Orono, Minnesota, herein referred to as the <br />Property, and legally described as follows: <br />Bayside Addition to Lake Minnetonka Lot 1, Block 8, that <br />P—t lying East of the West 150 feet. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono, ha v-.ng duly <br />considered the matter pursuant to Minnesota Statutes S;!ctir-ne 463.15 <br />to 463.2C1, hereby finds that the above described property is <br />unhabi;able and conta_„s unsanitary and hazardous conditions which <br />constitute a public nuisance and which makes this property hazardous <br />to the public health, safety and welfare based on rl - following <br />findings: <br />1. Floor rotten - will not support human weight. <br />2. Roof weakened by dry rot and leaks. <br />3. Plumbing, no septic or sewer syster,. <br />4. Interior walls deteriorated from leaking roof. <br />5. Exterior walls rotten at bottom. <br />6. Building is in a state of deterioration and dilapidation, <br />thus it is a safety and health hazard pursuant to Minnesota <br />State Building Code/Uniform Buildirg Code, Section 203. <br />7. Orders to removed the structure were issued by the <br />Building Official on June 24, 1985. These orders have not been <br />complied with. <br />Page 1 Df 2 <br />
