ROLL The Council met as the Canvassing Board on the above date and time in the Orono Council Chambers. The following members were present: Mayor Jabbour, Council Members Barbara Peterson, Charles Kelley, Richard Flint and Bob Sanscverc. The following represented City staff: City Administrator Ron Moorsc and Recorder Alissa Wintcmheimer. Mayor Jabbour called the meeting to order at 6:56 p.m. Council members were given results of the November 7, 2000 General Flection. Council Member Kelley moved. Council Member Sansevere seconded, to declare Barbara Peterson as Mayor for a 2-year term beginning in January of 2001, to declare Jay T. Nygard and Jim White as Council Members for 4-year terms beginning in Januar>' of2001, and to certify the results of the November 7, 2000 municipal election as follows: Mayor - Elect one for 2-year term Barbara Peterson William “Frenchy ” Dampicr Write-in receiving 2,751 votes receiving 1,310 votes receiving 37 votes Council Members - Elect two for 4-year terms Jay T. Nygard Jim White Tim Pattrin Aaron M. Printup Charles Van Eeckhout Write-in Vote: 5 ayes, 0 nays. A summary of the results by precinct of the November 7,2000 General Election is attached for Council review. COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED: Motion to declare Barbara Peterson as Mayor for a 2-year term beginning in January of 2001, to declare Jay T.
