c2 <br />MINUTES OF THE CANVASSING BOARD MEETING <br />HELD NOVEMBER 13, 2000 AT 6:55 P.M. <br />ROLL <br />The Council met as the Canvassing Board on the above date and time in the Orono Council <br />Chambers. The following members were present: Mayor Jabbour, Council Members Barbara <br />Peterson, Charles Kelley, Richard Flint and Bob Sanscverc. The following represented City staff: <br />City Administrator Ron Moorsc and Recorder Alissa Wintcmheimer. <br />Mayor Jabbour called the meeting to order at 6:56 p.m. <br />Council members were given results of the November 7, 2000 General Flection. <br />Council Member Kelley moved. Council Member Sansevere seconded, to declare Barbara Peterson <br />as Mayor for a 2-year term beginning in January of 2001, to declare Jay T. Nygard and Jim White <br />as Council Members for 4-year terms beginning in Januar>' of2001, and to certify the results of the <br />November 7, 2000 municipal election as follows: <br />Mayor - Elect one for 2-year term <br />Barbara Peterson <br />William “Frenchy ” Dampicr <br />Write-in <br />receiving 2,751 votes <br />receiving 1,310 votes <br />receiving 37 votes <br />Council Members - Elect two for 4-year terms <br />Jay T. Nygard <br />Jim White <br />Tim Pattrin <br />Aaron M.
