A RESOLUTION PRIORITIZING
REPLACEMENT OF BRIDGE STRUCTURES
WHEREAS,the City of Orono is a municipal corporation existing under the laws
of the State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Legislature has provided funds for assistance in the
rehabilitation or reconstruction of deficient bridges; and
WHEREAS, the City of Orono has analyzed the deficient bridges needing
replacement on City streets; and � _.-------------------. _ .. --------------
�VHEREAS, it is apparent that there is insufficient funding at the local level for
completion of these bridge replacement projects.
� ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono City Council does
hereby request financial assistance in the replacement of the following bridges.
Bridge No. L8854 West Ferndale Road and Browns Bay Channel Estimated Cost$150,000
Bridge No. L8865 Fox Street and Long Lake Creek Estimated Cost$150,000
Adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on May 12, 2003.
