A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY
OF ORONO TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT
WITH HENNEPIN COUNTY FOR COST PARTICIPATION
. IN THE CONSTi2UCTION OF A BIKE TRAIL
WHEREAS,the County has a cost participation program available to local units of
goverriment for cost participation in the design and construction of bicycle trails along County
Roads. •
WHEREAS,the County has developed a cost participation agreement number
PW 59-08-02 with the City of Orono for cost participation in the design and construction of a
bicycle trail along County Road 6 in the City of Orono. .
� NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono,
Minnesota:
1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a cost
participation agreement with Hennepin County in the name of the City of Orono
for the design and construction of a bicycle trail along County Road 6 in the City
of Orono. �
� Adopted by the Qrono City Council at a regular Council meeting held on April 28, 2003.
