Gaffron, On Site Systems Manager SUBJECT: Hazardous Building - Paul W. Smith, 2477 Dunwoody Avenue I am enclosing a copy of our file on 2477 Dunwoody Avenue. This is a lake cabin owned by Paul W. Smith, 11217 Calvert Street, North Hollywood, California, 91606. The cabin is approximately 24 X 30 with livingroom, kitchen, bedroom and bath according to the assessor's records. The cabin is located approximately 15' from the lake and sits approximately 12' below the surrounding property. The lot is landlocked, divided off from another lakeshore lot, and apparently the owner has a walking easement to get to the cabin. The cabin i:�: not now connected to sanitary sewer. According to our guilts, a stub exists on Dunwoody Avenue to serve the property. In our opinion, the homeowner is responsible for extending a lateral to his property through the adjacent lot. The City will buy a pump and pump tank to lift the sewage to the level of the lateral but will not install or maintain the pump.
