RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL

-- A RESOLUTION PRIORITIZING
REPLACEMENT OF BRIDGE STRUCTURES
WHEREAS,the City of Orono is a municipal corporation existing under the laws
of the State of Minnesota; and
_. WHEREAS, the Minnesota Legislature has provided funds for assistance in the
' rehabilitation or reconstruction of deficient bridges; and
WHEREAS, the City of Orono has analyzed the deficient bridges needing
replacement on City streets; and
� WHEREAS, it is apparent that there is insufficient funding at the local level for
• completion of these bridge replacement projects. �
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono City Council does
hereby request financial assistance in the replacement of the following bridge.
Bridge No. L8854 West Ferndale Road and Browns Bay Channel Estimated Cost$150,000
Adopted by the City Council at a regulaz meeting held on February 24, 2003.
