Re: Well at 765 Dickey Lake Drive, Orono
Dear Mr. Van Busekom:
I noted today that you drilled a well at 765 Dickey Lake Drive
without the required pre -drilling well location inspection, and left
the site without the required depth measurement and f low rate (5 gallon
bucket )inspect.ion. These inspections are required, and failure to
call for regr--ed inspections may result in inconvenience and delays
for the homecwr.c.- or wilder, not to mention major expenses for you as a
well contractor ii a well has to be re -drilled because it is not an
acceptable location.
A 24-hour notice is required for all inspections; however, the
inspectiol, staff will continue to accomodate short -notice requests
for inspections as schedules permit. It would be extremely helpful if
you could notify us the day before an inspection is needed, and call in
the next day to verify the time.
