The <br />plans show removing an existing home and construction of a new attached garage dwelling. We have the <br />following comments with regards to engineering matters: <br />x The proposed 931 contour along the east lot line, to the northeast of the house, should tie into an <br />existing 931 contour. <br />x Plans should be submitted to the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District for review and approval. <br />x The proposed sidewalk shown along the east side of the home makes grading difficult and will <br />likely direct runoff onto the adjacent property. The applicant should consider removing the <br />sidewalk or reducing the three car garage to something narrower to allow for the necessary swale <br />or ditch construction along the side yard. <br />x It appears that runoff near the southwest corner of the house will be directed onto the property to <br />the west.
