A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE PROPOSED 2003
TAX LEVY COLLECTIBLE IN 2004
WHEREAS, at a regular meeting held on September 8,2003,the City Council of the City
of Orono adopted Resolution No. 5041, establishing the Proposed 2003 Tax Levy Collectible in
2004, and; �
WH�REAS, due to a misinterpretation of the overall levy limitation amount for taxes
collectible in 2004,Resolution No. 5041 included an inconect amount for the General Fund tax levy
to be collectible in 2004, and;
WHEREAS, to conect the amount of the General Fund tax levy collectible in 2004, it is
necessary to rescind Resolution No. 5041
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Orono, '
• County of Hennepin, Minnesota,that Resolution No. 5041 is hereby rescinded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following sums be levied for the current year,
collectible in 2004 upon the taxable properry in the City of Orono, for the following purposes:
General Fund - Operating $2,651,230
PIR Fund -Infrastructure Replacement(Road) 35,450
Park Fund -Land Acquisition and Development 5,000
Imp & Equip Outlay - Capital Equipment Certificates 125,000
G.O. Improvement Bond 1997 18,000
Public Facilities Revenue Refunding Bond 1998 -HRA 250,000
G.O. Improvement Bond 1999 5,000
Fire Facility and Equipment Bond 2003 -HRA 73,250
. G.O. Sewer Improvement Refunding Bond 2003 35,000 �
TOTAL ALL LEVIES . $3,197,930
The City Clerk is hereby instructed to transmit a certified copy of this resolution to the
County Auditor of Hennepin County, Minnesota.
