Puzak <br />1340 Baldur Park Road <br />Orono, MN 55391 <br />ZONING FILE #01-2714 <br />NOTICE OF COUNCIL ACTION <br />DATE OF NOTICE: June 25, 2003 <br />TYPE OF APPLICATION: Request for Variance Amendment <br />DATE OF MEETING: June 23, 2003 <br />Council provided the following direction: <br />1. Council agrees to allow construction of a new home without requiring connection to <br />municipal sewer, since no easement has become available to allow sewer connection. <br />Council was not interested at this time in pursuing condemnation of an eaement. <br />2. The house should be designed to match the capacity of the septic system. <br />3. A new variance application is required because the prior approval has expired, and the <br />changes from the initial proposal (i.e. revised house to match septic system capacity and <br />no sewer connection requirement) would not allow this to be defined as a 'renewal'. <br />4. Council indicated support for granting of the same variances for hardcover, setback, etc. <br />as were approved in the prior application. <br />No vote was taken. A variance application packet is enclosed for your use. <br />If you desire certified copies of the official Council minutes, they are available from the City <br />Recorder after review and approval by the Council.
