Resolution Recognizing the Organizers of the Casco Point
Neighborhood Night Out Event �
Be It Resolved,By the City Council of the City of Orono,
That we heartily thank Laura Dotzenroth and Mary Tucker for the very wonderful
and well organized Casco Point Neighborhood Night Out event,held on Tuesday August
5, 2003; and -
That we recognize that through their efforts and the efforts of approximately 10
volunteers, 130 families participated in the event, contributing food, cash donations, and
volunteer services; and
� That we express our appreciation to the Westonka Lions, who provided brats and
hotdogs, and to Tropical Breeze,who supplied the music; and
That th° event was very well don� ���«� ���y �uod foc,d; and
That these individuals who took their time to contribute to the spirit of
Neighborhood Night Out are to be congratulated and recognized. �
And Be ItFurther Resolved,
That this resolution be entered upon the journal of the Council and a copy of it be
sent to the press for publication.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting .
held on August 25, 2003.
