RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNAL
NO, 1174 _
DETERMINING THAT SANITARY SEWER
SERVICE WILL BE PROVIDED TO THE
PROPERTY AT 1230 DICKENSON STREET
WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized
and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, Sewer Project 80-1 was initiated by the City to solve
existing on -site sewage treatment problems in the Minnetonka Bluffs -West
Ferndale area, near which the property at 1230 Dickenson Street is
located; and '
WHEREAS, the property located at 1230 Dickenson Street contains
approximately 0.97 acres of dry land according to. all information
available to the City; and
WHEREAS, it is likely that future on -site sewage treatment
problems at 1230 Dickenson Street can be solved through the use of on -
site sewage treatment systems, and therefore the property has been
considered for inclusion in the 80-1 project only at the owner's request;
and
WHEREAS; the owner of said property has indicated -a preference
to have sanitary sewer provided to the property to serve the existing
residence,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Orono, that the property at 1230 Dickenson Street will be -served by a
single sewer service as part of the 80-1 sewer project.
