� - � � �� APPROVING A METES AND BOUNDS
;�,'�F;� SUBDIVISION OF CITY-OWNED
PROPERTY AS LEGALLY DESCRIBED
. QN EXHIBIT A
WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized
and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono has adopted •
subdivision regulations for the orderly, economic and safe development
of land within the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered' a request by Kendall
Ellis to purchase a parcel of land from the City for purposes of combining
said land with his adjacent homestead parcel; and
WHEREAS, the City Council on March 8, 1982, determined that the
- property in question was no longer needed for any publ.ic purpose. _
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
• City of Orono hereby approves the metes and bounds division of City-owned
property legally described as parcel A on Exhibit A attached, into two
parcels as follows:
� Parcel B as legally described on Exhibit A is the •
parcel which the City intends to convey to Mr. �
Ellis, subject to legal combination for tax and
zoning purposes of said Parcel B with the adjacent
• Ellis property which is known for tax purposes as �
tax parcel 09-117-23 13 0001; and
Parcel C as legally described on Exhibit A is that
� portion of Parcel A remaining after conveyance of
Parcel B to Ellis .
A certified original copy of this resolution shall be filed
with the Hennepin County Recorder' s Office.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono by a vote of
� ayes and � nays on this � day of °f����� , 1982.
