A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A TOW-AWAY ZONE
AT THE PARK LANE ACCESS AT NORTH ARM BAY .
WHEREAS, the City of Orono has received complaints from the
:, residents on Park Lane of a safety hazard being created by vehicles
parking in the cul-de-sac at the south end of Park Lane, and
WHEREAS, the City of Orono staff has reviewed the complaints
of a potential safety hazard at the cul-de-sac at the south end of
Park Lane, and
WHEREAS, the Orono staff has determined that the cul-de-sac on
the south end of Park Lane is not of adequate size to accomodate
parking, and it is in the interest of Public Safety, Health, & Welfare
to eliminate Park Lane cul-de-sac parking.
NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLUED tha.t the Orono City Council does
• hereby designate the cul-de-sac area which is sixty feet in width and
one hundred feet in length, a no parking and tow away zone 24 hours a
� day 7 days a week, and does hereby direct the Orono Public Works Depart-
ment to post the area "No Parking, Tow-Away Zone.
Adopted by the Orono. City Council at a regular council meeting on
