RESOLUTION ACCEPTI DONATION
WHEREAS,the city of Orono is authorized by Minn. S at.465.03 to accept donations of property
for the benefit of its people and is specifically authorize• to accept gifts; and
WHEREAS,the Pelican Point Homeowners Associatio has made a donation to the Orono Police
Department(Reserve Program); and
WHEREAS,the value of this donation is $2,750.00; a d
WHEREAS,the donation has been donated to Orono fir the benefit of its residents; and
WHEREAS,the City Council finds that it is appropriat- to accept the donation.
RESOLVED that the Orono City Council gratefully ac epts the donation of a$2,750.00.
FURTHER, police department staff will acknowled:e receipt of the donation and express
appreciation to the Pelican Point Homeowners Associat on.
Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a -gular meeting held on August 25, 2025.
