RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL

� � � AUTHORIZING HENNEPIN COUNTY TO ADMINISTER

ORONO'S CDBG HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM
� WHEREAS, the City of Orono adopted Resolution #1305 approving
a revised CDBG agreement with Hennepin County; and
WHEREAS, the City of Orono wishes to have Hennepin County
continue to administer the Housing Rehabilitation Grant Program within
Orono; ak�d
NOy?, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
. of Orono, Minnesota hereby adopted the "Procedural Guides Urban Hennepin
County Housing Rehabilitation Grant Program, July, 1981" , as supplied
by the Hennepin County Office of Planning and Development, for the
purpose of providing housing rehabilitation grants to eligible homeawners
within the City funded from the Urban Hennepin County Comrnunity Development
Block Grant Program;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
� Orono, Minnesota requests that Hennepin County, as the responsible
Urban Hennepin County CDBG recipient, administer the T�ousing Rehabilitation
Grant Program within the City as approved through and funded by the
Urban Hennepin County CDBG program;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Orono, Minnesota authorizes the use by Hennepin County of seven percent
of the Urban Hennepin County CDBG entitlement amount approved for
expendi�ure within the City for. the purpose of providing housing rehab-
ilitation grants to reimburse the County for related administrative
expenses effective July 2, 1981.
Adogted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota
at a regular meeting held the 28 day of September , 1981,
by a vote of 3 ayes and �nays.
