To whom it may concern,
Shortly after writing the enclosed letter I had the pleasure of iving a phone call from Mary Jo Emfield.
I expressed my concerns about construction plans and she said she would inform her builder of our
concerns. My husband and I decided to submit our letter as a matter of process. We would appreciate any
input the city can share to help things go smoothly.
Sincerely,
C
Catherine Russin

RE: Gregg & Mary Jo Emfield/Zoning • pplication 04-3045
3165 North Shore Drive
Request for Application Refund
The Emfields applied for a conditional use permit and variance for a property they were
planning to purchase from Bert Trapanese. Prior to completing their application their
purchase fell through, therefore Mr. Trapanese officially withdrew application 04-3045.
Due to the type of land use applications required the City collected a fee of$1200. I have
calculated the staff time and expenses associated with this application to be $490.00 plus
$129.00 for Bonestroo services.
would recommend refunding $581.00 to:
Gregg &Mary Jo Emfield
125 Mound Avenue
Tonka Bay, MN 55331
Please authorize this refund and transmit this mem to Tom Kuehn with your signature of
approval.
