A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION IN THE
' 1981 MINNESOTA SHADE TREE GRANT PROGRAM AND
AMENDING RESOLUTION NUMBER 1232.
WHEREAS, the City of Orono has a 1981 Shade Tree
Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Budget for 1981, including sanitation
and reforestation progrms of the City, was approved on September
29 , 1980; and
WHEREAS, the State Department of Agriculture has reduced
this Grant-In-Aid from 50� to 25� of reimbursable eligible costs
incurred by thie C,ity,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following is the
revised Shade Tree Program Budget for sanitation and reforestation
for calendar year 1981 and that the City share of said budget is
available in the General Fund.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Finance Director is
hereby authorized to execute and submit the 1981 Shade Tree Program
application to the Minnesota Department of Agriculture.
