RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL

A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND
ORDERING IMPROVEMENT
LS-1981-1
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the
construction of a municipal sanitary sewer lateral for the North
Shore Drive/Highwood area of the City, several different bids were
received, opened and tabulated according to law; and
WHEREAS, it appears that Ideal Enterprises, Eden Prairie,
Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder for this improvement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council presently intends to proceed with
construction of the improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Orono, Minnesota:
• 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to enter into the attached contract with .
Ideal Enterprises in the name of the City of Orono, i
according to the plans and specifications therefore
approved by the City Council and on file in the office
of the City Clerk. i
2 . The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with
their bids, except that the deposits of the successful
bidder and the next two lowest bidders shall be retain�d
until the contract is signed.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota, at a
regular meeting held on the l� day of August , 1981 by a vote of
5 Ayes and � Nays. ,
