� � � RESOLUTIt�N REQUESTING THAT THr� SFEED
LIMIT ON THE CITY OF OI;ONO' S PORTION
AND THE CITY OF N1ItiNETUNKA BEACH PORTION
OF OLD BEACH ROAD BE SET AT 30 MPH.
WHEREAS, the City Council or the City of ��rono, riinnesota
has been infor!:�ed by Police Chief Kilbo that the 20 MPH s�eed limit
on the Minnetonka Beach portian of 01.d Beach Road is difficult to
enforce, and
WHEREAS , the portion of Old Beach Road located in the
city limits of the City of Orono, Minnesota ha� a speed limit of
30 NIPH;
N�W THERFrORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Lity Council of
• i,l:e City of Orono, Minnesota, that since thE State Commissioner.
has certified that the 30 MPH s�eed limit is reasonable that
the :�eed limit on Old Beach Road be set at 30 P�iP?z.
This resolution was a�.o�ted by the Orono City Council at a -cgular
meeting on June 8 1981 .
