� <br /> �a ` � Clty of ORONO <br /> • �� <br /> � RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> . <br /> No. � �. �' � <br /> • - . . a <br /> TAX FORFEI'I'ED LANDS <br /> RELEASED FOR PUBLIC SALE <br /> ;ti'HEP.EAS, the City of Qrono is a municipal corporation <br /> organized and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br /> �✓7HEREAS , pursuant to r'iinnesota Statutes 282 , the City has <br /> received fr�n: H�nnepin Countv a list of lands within the City which <br /> have become the property of the State of r�innesota for non-pavr.lent <br /> of real estate taxes; and <br /> WHEREAS, the HerbneAin County Board of Commissioners have <br /> classified said lands as non-conservation land and have author.ized <br /> the sale of each such x�arcel of land subject to review and release <br /> by the City; and <br /> • �9HEREAS , the City Council has reviewed said lands for <br /> compliance with �ocal zoning ordinances, for the amount of outstanding <br /> s�ecial assessments remaining un�aid to the City, and/or for possible <br /> public use by the City as authorized by the Statutes. <br /> NO�d, THEREFORE, BE yT RESOLVED that the Cit�I Council of the <br /> City of Orono, pursuant to T�Tinnesota Statutes 282 , hereby approves <br /> the classification of each of the �ollowing parcels of land as non- <br /> corservation land, and furthermore, approves the public sale of each <br /> narcel of land as listed below. <br /> P.elease of these lands by the City Council does not constitute <br /> an assurance that each parcel is cr will be approvec� as a building <br /> site. All parcels remain subject to all applicable zoning ordinance <br /> provisions , including t'r?�se regulations providing for minimum lot <br /> area anc', minimum lot width. Substandard parcels may be useable only <br /> in combination with other adjoining parcel (s) . <br /> Release of these lands by t.he City Council is subject to the <br /> condition that aIl outstandinq special_ assessments shall be paid in <br /> full to the City upon return to private ownership. Any amount not <br /> recovered at the time o� sale shall be subject to reassessment by the <br /> City. <br /> � <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
