RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL

• " • • RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SUBMISSION OF THE CITY OF ORONO
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRANi TO HENNEPIN COUNTY
FOR CONSIDER.ATION AS PART OF' THE
URBAN HENNEPIN COUNTY COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT APPLICATION
IN ACCORD WITH THE
HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ACT OF 1974, AS AMENDED
WHEREAS, the City of Orono has executed a Cooperation
agreement with Hennepin County agreeing to participate in the
Urban Hennepin County Community Development Block Grant Program,
and
WHEREAS , a three year Community Development Program
and Housing Assistance Plan was prepared for Program Years V,
VI and VII consistent with the Urban Hennepin County Compre-
hensive Community Development Strategy and the Community
Development Program Regulations , and
• WHEREAS, the Year VII Community Development Program
was developed consistent with the Urban Hennepin County Compre-
hensive Community Development Strategy and has been subject
to citizen review pursuant to the Urban Hennepin County Citizen
Participation Plan,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City
of_ Orono approves the proposed Year VII Community Development
Program and authorizes application transmittal to Hennepin
County for consideration as part of the Year VII Urban Hennepin
County Community Development Block Grant Application.
Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono
this 23rd day of March, 1981.
