Re: Mound system at 480 Deborah Drive
Dear Brian:
On June 23, 1989, an inspection was conducted on a mound system at the
above subject property. During this inspection the following problems were
found:
1. Improper cover over mound - found 4"+ of clay over mound - code
requires 12" sandy loam plus 6" of top soil, see encloser.
2. Electrical connections incorrect - must be in a water- tight box -
see encloser.
3. Pump float set wrong - float was hung up on pump and was running
dry, may have been that way for months.* If early pump failure occurs,
this is no doubt the cause.
We spoke on the phone about these problems shortly after this
inspection. On July 26, 1989, a follow-up inspection was conducted. I
probed the mound again and found it to st**!! be short of cover. This
letter is to notify you that cover mu»> to the mound the
electrical connections and floats must be uv,;vr*;cea and reinspected before
August 7, 1989. You must call for an insptvtion and meet me on site as
soon as the work is completed.
