Councilmen present were Earl Dorn and Mary Eiutler. Also present were Bob Martin County Assessor, Don Monk County Assessor's staff, Dave Culbert County Attorney�s office� t�artin Walsh Village Assessor and James Cosby Villa�e Clerk-Admini strator. Aiayor Oberhauser asked IIob Martin to explain the neW ta�c bill to the audience. i3e told the audience in this bill the 1973 market value can not exeeed the 1972 value by 57:. A period of �uestions and answers followed. Mayor ��berhauser instructed the citi2ens with complaints� to aive their name, plat and parcel ta the Villaf�e Assessor for re-appraisal and review. The Board shall complete it's work and adjourn withfn 20 days from the time of convening. This year due to a pendirlf� legislative action to freeze assessment levels at the 1972 rate we are not sure what to advise the Baards to do at this early date. It's possible that the pr000sed freeze will take effect and then only the hearings w;ll be much of a conce�(n.
